ACCOMMODATION
Casa Gangotena’s rooms, with both double and king-size beds, are arrayed across all three of its floors. Due to the property’s heritage character, rooms vary in size, although they are all comfortably ample. All benefit from the mansion’s elegant tall ceilings which draw the bright Andean sunlight into their interiors.

On the ground floor, two Luxury rooms have garden access. On the first floor, the Balcony Junior Suite overlooks the garden with views directing south of the city. There are also nine Luxury rooms and four Plaza View rooms. On the second floor, there are eight Luxury rooms and four Plaza View rooms. On both the first and second floors, one suite can be separated to make two connecting or individual Luxury rooms.

PLAZA VIEW ROOMS
Plaza View rooms bathed in golden light in the mornings and resplendently floodlit at night, enjoy wonderful views across Plaza San Francisco. They are perfect rooms for guests who want to feel close to the city’s hum, watching its life pass by at the large and historic square from the tall, handsome French windows.

LUXURY ROOMS
Casa Gangotena’s Luxury rooms invite guests to relax in style, enjoying the peace created by its luxurious upholstery, plush carpets, fine linen and rich furnishings which adorn each room.

LUXURY PLUS
The Luxury Plus room occupies the end of the southwestern wing of the property. Striking neoclassical columns rise around the room, topped with ornate stuccowork, which interrupts the floral Art Nouveau frieze that runs around the cornicing. One wall is entirely taken up with an original mural of an Italian lake landscape, awash in blues and soft tones. The bathroom is particularly attractive, with two large windows facing west and south, elegant columns and a decadent feel.

SUITE
At the end of the western wing of the property, on the first and second floors, two Luxury Rooms are inter-connected, providing more space for families and visiting dignitaries. Both of them can be converted into Suites.

BALCONY JUNIOR SUITE
Balcony Junior Suite is undeniably romantic: with a balcony overlooking the inner garden and picturesque views of the Virgin of Quito atop her hillside. Neoclassical stucco columns adorn the room. The bathroom is hugely inviting, with two large windows that draw in the Andean light, while beautiful columns and black-and-white veined marble complete the picture.

JUNOR SUITE
he Junior Suite is one of the most special rooms in the house. This room used to be the “tea room” of the Gangotena family. The spacious Junior Suite features an original restored mural. The Junior Suite overlooks the garden and the Panecillo hillside.

The cuisine at Casa Gangotena’s Cedron Restaurant is a Celebration in honour of Ecuador’s typical cuisine, upgraded to the finest status of creativeness and a flair-filled blend of traditional and modern, a superb alchemy of ingredients, textures, aromas and flavours.

Casa Gangotena features more than 100 labels of fine wines carefully selected by art connoisseur’s Sommeliers.

AFTERNOON TEA TIME
This is a classic of Quito’s inhabitants, the local equivalent of the famed English “High Tea”. The “Quiteño” tradition of getting together in the late afternoon, at the end of a working day to enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate with a sandwich or typical snack has been revived by Casa Gangotena to invite its Hotel guests as well as visitors from the city to enjoy this lively tradition. The Quiteño Afternoon Coffee is offered either at the glass-covered patio or at the Bar.
